Code of Practice for Pet Shops Misses Crucial Point

We are preparing a submission to address the fact that while the new code of practice requires pet store staff to advice on animal cleaning, feeding, housing requirements etc. There is no requirement to advise prospective Owners that they may require permission to own a pet from their Body Corporate. Given that this is one of the primary disputes that occur in the Strata environment it would be beneficial to 'nip' this one early.
